In the world of business, women have been playing in unfair territory for a long time. According the UN Women, women-led startups received just 2.3% of venture capital funding in 2020. And the stats are even slimmer for Australian businesses.
In Bullfrog’s opinion, we think the best way to reverse this is simple. Empower as many women as we can to own their own businesses.
So, we put our money where our mouth is and worked with female entrepreneurs to not just drive an industry conversation, but also select a women-led startup and help them on their journey.
We invested pro-bono access to Bullfrog’s world-class brand services, co-working space, and in-house production facilities.
In 2024 we welcomed our first Fair Advantage resident, Lisa Lie, who was a finalist in the B&T Women in Tech awards, and whose workplace microlearning start-up, Learna, has grown in revenue 3x YoY.
The program that began as a 6 month residency designed to offer startups led by women a strategic and creative edge in the unequal world of business, has since grown into a brand that spans community, education, and will soon offer seed stage funding.
